Hi, I’m Linda, founder of Military Spinner & Things. I’m a retired CW3 and U.S. Army Signal Corps veteran who later became a licensed social worker and now serves as caretaker for my 98-year-old mother.
The original spinner began as an idea during a deployment to Djibouti in 2018. Created with the Army Warrant Officer Corps 100th Anniversary in mind, it quickly gained popularity across the base community among service members from all branches, veterans, and military collectors. Interest later expanded stateside after a member of the National Guard community purchased one and shared it within his workplace. Approximately 600 spinners were sold and distributed during the original production run.
Today, Military Spinner & Things offers its second-generation military spinner alongside military-themed novelty license plates, with plans to expand into additional products in the future. What began as an idea on a small overseas base has evolved into a growing small business focused on military-inspired products and collectibles.
